NJFX is Hiring a Site Access Associate

Job Description:

As a Site Access Associate at NJFX, you will play a vital role in maintaining a robust security framework for our state-of-the-art telecommunications hub. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure continuous, 24/7 surveillance and protection of critical assets, while actively deterring potential threats to both regional and global networks.

In this mission essential position, you will be expected to perform a variety of essential tasks that support today’s critical infrastructure. Your role at NJFX will require strict adherence to Access Control policies and procedures, vigilant observation, timely reporting, and effective communication, all in contribution to the successful functioning of our Cable Landing Station (CLS) and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor site access and ensure compliance with established security protocols.
Conduct regular surveillance and patrols to safeguard critical assets.
Report suspicious activities, site anomalies and malfunctions, security breaches, or emergencies immediately.
Generate and maintain automated tickets and reports related to site access, material movement, facility operations, and incidents.
Interact with and provide support to NJFX staff, customers, contracted vendors, and delivery personnel.
Collaborate with team members and other security personnel to enhance overall safety and security measures.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License.
NJ SORA certification preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in security preferred.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems is a plus.
