Founder & CEO

Gil Santaliz is the Founder and CEO of NJFX and the visionary behind developing NJFX as North America’s preeminent international hub for subsea communications, interconnecting international carriers across three continents. He developed the concept of “Tier 3 by the Subsea” — a purpose-built facility for high- and low-density data center space and colocation of subsea systems interconnecting global backbone networks to unique metro fiber assets. Previously CEO and Founder of 4Connections LLC, which he successfully exited in 2008 to Optimum Lightpath. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.
Jim Martini
Jim Martini
CFO

James Martini is the CFO of NJFX, bringing decades of telecom finance experience including prior CFO roles at Cross River Fiber and 4Connections, where he helped drive both successful sale transactions. A hands-on executive contributing to every aspect of operations from contract negotiations to financial strategy. With roots as a CPA and accounting practice owner for over twenty years, he also served as associate professor of accounting at Montclair State University. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Taxation from Bryant College.
Felix Seda

Partner & CRO

As Partner and CRO, Felix Seda manages day-to-day operations, budgetary oversight, and growth of the NJFX ecosystem, working closely with clients on strategic goals and initiatives. Prior to NJFX, he held a management position at Barclays Wealth as Assistant VP of Private Wealth, overseeing the Advisory Middle Office across North America. Mr. Seda received his BA from Trinity College. Industry recognition includes NJBiz “40 Under 40” and Capacity Media “Power 100.”
Ryan Imkemeier
Ryan Imkemeier
VP of Operations

Ryan Imkemeier is NJFX’s VP of Operations, responsible for building and maintaining critical electrical, cooling, and optical infrastructure. He brings nearly 30 years of subsea and terrestrial network experience. Prior to NJFX, Ryan worked in the Network Operations Center at Tata Communications monitoring subsea and terrestrial networks before becoming lead technician at the Cable Landing Station. His expertise spans SLTE gear, Power Feed Equipment, and major projects including the TTN Tyco Global Network and TGN Subsea Networks.
Emily Newman
Emily Newman
Director of Marketing

Emily Newman leads NJFX’s marketing and PR strategy, including award submissions, speaking engagements, press releases, and brand development across all platforms. With five years of experience in graphic design and marketing, Emily has successfully led customer development initiatives through strategic campaigns. She holds a BS from Wagner College and continues developing expertise in graphic design, web development, and public relations.
James Harrison
James Harrison
Security & Site Access Manager

James Harrison manages NJFX’s security operations, team management, access control, surveillance systems, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Prior to NJFX, James served 22 years on active duty as a Senior Noncommissioned Officer in the US Army Military Police Corps, deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, Cuba, Germany, and Albania. He is certified in Infrastructure Protection through Texas A&M and holds a BA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Public Administration.
