NJFX named to Capacity Global Carrier Awards Shortlist for Best North American Project & Best Data Centre Innovation

WALL, NJ –  NJFX, the only CLS colocation campus in the U.S offering Tier 3, carrier neutral data center capabilities with direct access to TGN 1 & 2, Seaborn and HAVFRUE/AEC2 (2019), announces its nomination to the 14th annual Global Carrier Awards 2018 for Best North American Project and Best Data Centre Innovation.

NJFX is proud to be shortlisted for these awards which recognize NJFX’s innovative approach in helping carriers strategically diversify connectivity options to key hubs across North America, Europe, and South America, bypassing legacy chokepoints.

As a finalist for the Best North American Project, NJFX is recognized for its campus expansion adding 48 acres to the NJFX footprint which also includes an 80,000 square foot data center and disaster recovery space adjacent to NJFX’s existing facility. The expansion will allow for NJFX to improve on its route diversity and benefit the telecoms marketplace by allowing more tenants to take advantage of the unique colocation and interconnection capabilities of NJFX. The space will also be able to accommodate future independent cable landing stations and/or independent data centers.

NJFX was also recognized in the Best Data Centre Innovation award category for its role as a critical hub where subsea cables make landfall and the world’s first colocation campus that strategically intersects a carrier-neutral subsea cable landing station meet-me room with a Tier 3, carrier-neutral data center. Over the last year the company has added four subsea cable systems to its data center campus.

The Global Carrier Awards are part of Capacity Europe 2018, an event uniting 400+ industry leaders from across the international carrier community. As the largest carrier event in Europe, Capacity Europe is the annual meeting for carriers, data centers, IXPs, ISPs, cloud & content providers and infrastructure vendors to partner, trade and renew business.
