NJFX owns and operates a 64,800 square foot purpose-built data center that is supported by several carriers and offers direct access to multiple independent subsea cable systems that interconnect North America, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.

The NJFX facility intersects where subsea cables from the U.S., South America and Europe meet at the United States’ easternmost edge, offering service providers, enterprises, carrier-neutral operators and cable companies direct interconnection options at the cable head-end without recurring cross-connect fees. The NJFX data center also provides global connectivity to more than 240 countries and territories as well as 99.7% of the world’s GDP by way of Tata Communications’ global subsea fiber network, one of the largest and most advanced in the world.
Located inside Tata Communications’ international CLS, the data center provides direct access to NJFX’s existing carrier-neutral MMR located inside Tata Communications’ CLS. Customers benefit from a high level of connectivity to leading service providers within the Tata Communications’ CLS, as well as access to the company’s industry-leading Wavelength, Ethernet, MPLS, DIA and Cloud services. NJFX owns and operates the facility, supporting carrier-neutral operators, carriers, enterprises, and federal and state government entities. The MMR is now open for business and readily available to support new tenants.
NJFX provides customers with direct access to robust international capacity as well as availability of Tier 1 ISP services with multiple fiber-based providers offering regional, super regional, national, and independent international networks, providing more control for carriers and enterprise companies via a new network edge.
The NJFX data center features 24x7 on-site security and secure loading dock access, as well as Hurricane 5-resistant infrastructure and N+1 indoor generators with on-site fuel for five days.
Direct access to an existing on-site Jersey Central Power & Light substation provides NJFX with an additional 9MW of reserved capacity, allowing tenants the flexibility of power densities ranging from 2kW to 16kW per cabinet. The site also boasts N+1 UPS with configurable distribution.
Conveniently located within 60 miles of New York City, Philadelphia and New York / New Jersey Financial Exchanges, the NJFX facility is accessible via public transportation, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.
